Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have made the decision to postpone the CPSA Awards 2021, from our usual date of February, to October next year.
This is due to the lack of shooting through this summer seasons' lock-down, and the changing government advice on social gatherings causing our usual February date to be considered too close a risk, with questions as to whether we would even be able to host the Awards and in what capacity.
Our aim is to grow these Awards year on year. By delaying until October, we hope to have a better idea on the health situation which applies to group events for us to be able host a non-limited Awards. We also hope to have more of the sport enjoyed by our members over the 2021 shooting season, with the October date accounting for all Major Championships having taken place. This hopefully will allow members to have a range of shooting opportunities in which to nominate to their fellow members as finalists for the Awards.
We look forward to hosting the CPSA Awards next year and will continue to update you as time progresses.
