English Open Super Sporting Day 3
Day 3 of the EO SSP at Garlands started with cool blustery conditions interspersed with some light rain and then warm sunshine later on to warm up the later squads in the day!
For most of the morning Michael Cyffin-Jones' score of 91ex100 held until John Lee took to the course and registered a superb 92 early in the afternoon to top the leaderboard going into day 4. Harry Seal came close too with a great 91 late in the day which was then matched by Nick Hendrick shooting in the last squad of the day. Top scores today in categories were Kerry Oakley in Ladies with 71, Archie Gale & Benjamin Jordan in Colts both with 80, Archie Tromans in Juniors scored 83, in Veterans Matt Hance with 86 & in Super Veterans John Carlisle scored 82ex100.
The forecast looks a bit better for tomorrow with some pleasant sunshine around to enjoy the last day of the championship.
