English Open Super Sporting Day 1

headlines

The first day of the CPSA English Open Super Sporting could not have started better - the sun was shining and the prospect for the shooters was looking good.  The forecast for this week looks similar so hopefully another competition of happy shooters.

Feedback on the Super Sporting was that it was a very enjoyable shoot with challenging targets worthy of a championship, thanks to all of the hard work by the Clay Shooting Company team at Garlands.

Top scores of the day came from Paul Fulford & Timothy Simmons both hitting 90ex100 closely followed by Chris Biddlecombe & Rob Harris on 89. Top score in the Ladies was Natasha Vadasz with a very good 85ex100. Martin Doughty top scored in Super Veterans with 88 and Andy Moon in Veterans also with 88. Edward Cleverley top scored in Juniors with 79ex100 and Brae Taylor in Colts with 72ex100.

Good luck to all who are shooting the rest of this week. Will defending champion Mark WInser take home the trophy once again ?
