2022 Sponsored Day
The first day of the Down The Line Weekend, the Sponsors Day saw a bright and breezy day for all competitors. With three rotations over 12 layouts, plenty of shooters were able to compete, not only for overall High Gun of the day, but for some it was the start of their challenge to win a Beretta gun by achieving the highest combined score across 3 days in the Beretta Challenge.
There was great shooting throughout the day by all levels and categories, with Mark Shaw taking an early lead with a score of 100/296. Paul Chaplow very quickly took the lead after lunch with a perfect 100/300. Coming to the end of the day and although Geoff Howlett and Chris Moule came close with 100/298 scores, the High Gun was awarded to Paul with Geoff taking Runner Up and Chris 3rd after a close shoot off.
