Dorset, Devon & Cornwall Firearms Licensing
The joint firearms licensing unit will be realigned into separate units for each force.
Devon and Cornwall and Dorset's shared firearms licensing unit will be separated back into individual units for each force area.
It follows a review and public survey after challenges have cropped up around delays for the issuing of some firearms licences and shotgun certificates.
The change will come into effect in the Autumn.
