HSE Lead Update
Following the end of the HSE consultation period in November, the HSE have today confirmed a further 6-month extension to the process due to the overwhelming response since it launched!

CPSA CEO Iain Parker who sits on the board of the British Shooting Sports Council (BSSC) commented: “We are working very closely with the HSE on what is clearly a complex issue, hence the 6-month extension to the process. From our perspective, our position remains the same, that lead in ammunition be allowed to continue in our sport and we will actively work with the HSE to protect our sport.”
