Ken Shynn Obituary
We regret to state that Ken Shynn passed away on 25 Feb 2021.
He was a passionate clay shooter for over 35 years, with DTL being his great love. Ken was a well-known presence at the Isle of Wight Gun Club and a CPSA Life Member, who represented England for DTL for several years and won many accolades including medals at European Championships and the Island Games. He also won third place in Veterans in the English Open DTL in 2012.
He is remembered by his shooting friends as 'A true gentleman', always encouraging and supportive of anyone of any age or gender entering our sport.
His other great love was fishing, with many shooters going off fishing with him after spending a day on the range.
Plans are being made to hold a charity shoot in the summer to remember Ken and raise funds for the local Hospice where he spent his final days.
