CPSA At The Game Fair
Visit the CPSA at The Game Fair, 28 – 30 July at Hatfield House, Hertfordshire
No summer is complete without the annual Game Fair and this year we have a range of activities crammed into three days at Hatfield House in Hertfordshire.
Along with our stand on Gunmakers Row (J1355), we will be running a ‘Have A go’ on the clayline, where anyone can come and break some clays with help from our qualified coaches.
For just £10 for Juniors or £12 for Seniors, you can take on ten targets with all safety equipment provided. Novice or experienced, young or old – anyone and everyone is welcome.
The Champion of Champions takes place on the Saturday and will see the top Sporting shooter from each County (nominated by their County Committee) shoot a 50 target English Sporting course. The top ten shooters will return for a semi-final before the top five lock horns in a final to decide the overall winner.
The Colts Challenge on Sunday will feature the top ten colts based on CPSA rankings compete on a 25 target Sportrap layout. The top five shooters will then repeat the layout to determine the winner. This unique competition is a fantastic opportunity to watch some of the best thriving young shots in the country in action.
New For 2017
CPSA Live in Association with Sporting Gun will be running throughout the show. We will be hosting a series of sessions covering different elements of clay shooting, ranging from grass roots to elite level, gun safety and having a go for the first time. Rio 2016 Double Trap Bronze medallist Steve Scott will be among the guest speakers discussing the Olympics and his journey.
On top of this we have teamed up with The Game Fair to run a charity shoot on the Saturday afternoon in aid of their official charity, Lord’s Taverners.
Nine top shooters will be placed alongside nine famous faces with there being an opportunity for you to complete in the squad. More information on how you can do that will be released on the CPSA website soon.
All of this plus tea and coffee, giveaways, England Shooters, friendly staff and much more on our stand throughout the weekend – you can’t miss us at The Game Fair this year!
