TSC Oxford 2016 Sees Bloxham Strike Back
TSC Oxford March 9 started off the 2016 series, with a fantastic day seeing over 200 entries! Despite the very wet weather conditions, across the grounds enthusiastic young shots could be seen smiling and concentrating on getting the winning score, making the atmosphere incredible.
There were some outstanding results on the day, with the overall top score coming from prep lad Charlie Cobain with an impressive score of 48ex50, beating all the senior boys. The senior high score was not far behind with 47ex50 - a great way to start the TSC 11th year.
The CPSA are delighted to support this innovative program, which does a great job in bring more youngsters into the sport and has this year seen increases in ladies teams, new schools and colleges that have just started to get into the sport.
In the team results it was Bloxham's A team that just beat RAU and Bredon School's A team by just a few clays. Will Bloxham be able to keep it up for the whole year? As the battle starts again, are Bloxham going to be the number one school for 2016 and take the crown from Bredon's success in 2015? Milfield School could also be one to watch, after count back they placed fourth. Whatever happens, it is sure to be another fascinating series.
The next stage of the TSC series see The University Championships take place on Wednesday, March 16. Please call David or Daisy at TSC on 01844 238308 to book on.
