Update to 2021 England DTL and ESK Team Selection Process
The following announcement was sent yesterday by email to all England Team Shooters:
Following the announcement on 29th June 2020 regarding England Team selection process for both Down the Line and English Skeet beginning afresh and based on scores achieved between 1st July 2020 and 28th February 2021 (for Home International and World events), the board of directors have subsequently reviewed this and the following will now be used.
The Pre-selection process will now be based on your top 5 scores from 3 different shooting grounds from the period of 1st July 2019 through to 28th February 2021. Therefore you now have the choice to try for the invitation to the selection shoots using your scores based on your achievements that would have been used for 2020 selection or to continue shooting to improve your position etc.
Introducing this extended period for the 2021 England Teams selection also now allows those unable to try for the teams this year to put scores in for the invitation process for 2021.
This is seen as a practical solution for all our members.
