4 November Pre-Lockdown Update
In advance of the forthcoming national lockdown, with shooting venues ordered to close by the Government to reduce social contact, the CPSA Board of Directors have taken the decision to suspend all CPSA Registered fixtures from Thursday, 5 November 2020. During the duration of lockdown, we can assure the membership we are coordinating with our fellow shooting associations and government to ensure that clay-target shooting can resume as soon as possible.
The CPSA office will continue to operate as in the previous lockdown, with most of the team working from home. We are still answering the phones and emails as normal to support the membership. The team continue to work on the various aspects of membership that carry on and in the planning and preparation of 2021. You will still receive your Pull! Magazine, insurance continues in place – including shotgun certificate renewal refusal or revocation insurance for Full members – and web and social media work continues as a key source of information in the current circumstances.
This has been a difficult and unprecedented year for us all, affecting our personal and business lives alike. We’d like to thank all of those medical, emergency service, and key workers who continue to keep the nation running as safely as possible. We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank you the membership for your continued support and look forward to when we can shoot again in the not too distant future.
We wish for you, your family, and your loved ones to keep safe and well.
