CPSA update on Coronavirus - members
If you have concerns about Coronavirus (COVID-19) please follow the latest Government advice and guidance which can be found at https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-information-for-the-public.
This remains an evolving situation that we are monitoring carefully and we will provide updates where possible based on the best advice and guidance available to us from relevant authorities. This includes any postponement or cancellations to our fixtures.
It's paramount that we ensure the safety and wellbeing of all of our staff, members, and shooters.
Some common sense advice at this time:
If you're unwell with cold or flu symptoms (such as a high temperature or continuous cough):
· Please stay home until you've completed the recommended period of self-isolation and recovered fully. The NHS 111 Coronavirus service can be found at https://111.nhs.uk/service/COVID-19/.
If you've recently been in close contact with someone with the virus or visited a high risk area:
· Please stay home until you've completed the recommended period of self-isolation.
Personal hygiene:
· Wash your hands properly and regularly (e.g. For 20 seconds on arrival, before eating / drinking and on departure etc). Use alcohol-based hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available.
· Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze. Put used tissues in the bin immediately and wash your hands afterwards.
Greeting / parting:
· Try to find alternatives to handshakes, kisses, or hugs.
Respect personal space:
· Try to maintain distance between each other, at least 2 meters (about 3 steps) if possible (no looking over the shoulder of other shooters etc).
It is important that we all do our part. Please take care of each other and ensure everyone follows official advice. We hope that you all stay healthy and well!
