CPSA Statement on Coronavirus
Coronavirus remains an evolving situation and we will adhere to the best advice and guidance from relevant authorities. Although we are aware of the impact on other sporting events in the UK and abroad, it is still too far out until our Major Championships take place to speculate what the situation will be then.
As such we have no plans to cancel or postpone any CPSA Championships at this stage. However, we will continue to monitor the situation closely, working with the shooting industry and relevant authorities. We will be prepared to act, if the need arises, regarding any potential impact on our fixtures and will update you as necessary.
It is always recommended that any shooters travelling to or from abroad, take out appropriate travel, medical and cancellation insurance for both their own health reasons and event cancellation. Such insurance is a personal responsibility and is not covered by CPSA membership.
We recommend that those with concerns about Coronavirus (COVID-19) follow the guidelines set out by the World Health Organisation (www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019/advice-for-public) and follow the latest government advice and guidance which can be found using the links below:
