British Open Sporting & Sportrap (Day 4)
Today was the final qualifying day of the CPSA British Open Sporting, before Saturday’s invitational Final, and the final day of the British Open Sportrap. We were fortunate to have calm, clear conditions which warmed up considerably through the day into a sunny afternoon as shooters tackled the two courses for the final time here at E.J. Churchill Swinton.

Today we saw the conclusion of the British Open Sportrap, after a tense shoot-off between Nick Hendrick & Billy Baughan, with Nick securing the title of British Open Sportrap Champion 2024 after beating Billy in a close, sudden-death shoot-off. Many congratulations Nick and all who placed in class and category!
We saw some great scores coming in today for the Sporting, with a high score of 112ex120 from Henry Collins, closely followed by John Porter, Billy Baughan, and Stuart Emms on 111ex120. Well done gentlemen, the standard of shooting tomorrow for Finals Day is going to be tremendous.
The top five from each class (AAA - C) and top three from the following categories of Senior, Super Veterans, Veterans, Ladies, Juniors & Colts per day are invited back for the 75 target final on Saturday. With the Disabled Category, it is the top standing score and top sitting score plus the next best score regardless of standing or sitting per day to qualify.
