CPSA British Open English Sporting and Sportrap to be Hosted by E.J. Churchill at the Swinton Estate
We are delighted to announce that the CPSA British Open English Sporting and Sportrap Championships will be returning to the North of England and hosted at E.J. Churchill at The Swinton Estate, from 1-5th September.
Based near Masham in North Yorkshire, Swinton Estate is situated in the stunning Yorkshire Dales and is the ancestral home of Lord and Lady Masham. It has recently undergone a huge investment program from E.J. Churchill, with developments to the clubhouse, shooting grounds, and facilities.
Jamie Peckham from E.J. Churchill and Tom Jones from West Midlands Shooting Ground will be setting the targets at the ground, and with the fantastic terrain available we are sure to have some challenging and interesting targets.
The CPSA British Open English Sporting Championship will be shot across four qualifying days with 120 targets over 15 stands. At the end of each day, the top five from each class and category will be invited back to shoot on the Sunday in the 75-target Final. The top six shooters in the Final will advance to the Super Final.
The British Open Sportrap will be contested Wednesday through Saturday with highest scores at the end of the championship taking the High Gun spots. Any shoot offs required will take place on the Saturday.
There will also be a pool shoot with daily cash pay-outs, a Rizzini Gun demo area, a busy trade village, and a daily raffle that all competitors are automatically entered in.
The Championship’s sponsors are Rizzini (ASI), Musto, and Gamebore, and we are proud to welcome SWATCOM as a new Headline Sponsor. Fine Shooting Accessories are also a new sponsor for this years' event. They all will be generously giving both cash and product prizes for the event. Our thanks as always to Promatic for their continued support of our Championships.
