British Open English Sporting Day 4 & Sportrap Final
Today saw the penultimate day of the British Open English Sporting and the final day of the British Open Sportrap, followed by shoot-offs to decide the ties in the Sportrap.
Top scorer in the Sporting today was Richard Faulds with a superlative 116 ex 120.
Sam Green won the Overall Sportrap High Gun with 95 ex 100, followed by Aaron Harvey who took second by default on 93, tied with George Digweed who was unable to attend the shoot-off and therefore took third.
In other Sportrap categories, Tristan Hockey won Colts with 86, James Bradley-Day took Juniors with 88, Hannah Gibson took first in Ladies with 81, and Steve Brightwell won Veterans with 91, Ami Hedgecock took Lady Colts, Stephanie Meachen took Lady Juniors, Paul Bailey took Disabled Sitting, Mark Delf won Disabled Standing. In class, Ami Hedgecock took C Class, Phillip Hayden B Class, Mark Bowes A Class, Steve Clark AA Class, and Billy Baughan took AAA Class.

The top five shooters from each class (AAA, AA, A, B, and C) and the top three from each category (Ladies, Seniors, Veterans, Juniors, Colts, and Disabled Standing and Disabled Sitting) from each day have been invited to shoot the 75-target Final on Sunday. The top six scores from the Final will be invited to a 25-target Super Final.
