English Open English Sporting 2019 - Day 3
Day 3 of the English Open English Sporting saw yet another great day of shooting at West Midlands Shooting Ground, with beautiful weather continuing to hold out.
No one managed to knock the top three from yesterday down the leader board, as Sam Green holds first, Richard Bunning second, and James Bradley-Day, Chris Childerhouse, and Ben Husthwaite are tied for third.
Colts saw young Darcy McBride put in an excellent 96 ex 120 to tie with Tristan Hockey for the lead.
Competitors have continued to praise the event and the challenging course at West Midlands Shooting Ground. A Class shooter Iain Platts managed to be the first and only shooter so far to straight the notorious stand 15.
The event is made possible thanks to the generous support of sponsors Rizzini (distributed in the UK by ASI), and Eley Hawk, who have provided a gun and cartridges respectively as prizes for winners, and Promatic Traps, who are supporting with trap engineers to keep everything running smoothly.
