Jury Decision: The ICTSF World English Sporting Championships
Jury Decision Made (17:00 on Friday 14 July 2017)
Due to the adverse weather conditions expereinced on Friday at Kelmarsh Hall, two stands on the Blue ICTSF World English Sporting course have either been considerably altered or become dangerous to shoot.
As a result of this, the following decisions have been made by the Jury in relation to the Blue course:
- All shooters will be awarded ten points on Stand three
- Stand eight (4 pairs) has been removed from the competition
To compensate for this the format of the competition has now been slightly changed:
- The top twelve shooters (plus ties) from each rotation (Thursday / Friday and Saturday / Sunday) totalling in 24 shooters (plus ties) will now be invited to return on Sunday afternoon to shoot a 50 target Semi-final. Scores will not be carried forward into the Semi-final.
- The top five (plus ties) from the Semi-final will then progress to shoot in the 25 Target Super Final (carry their scores with them) to determine the Overall High Gun.
