Panter Wins ABT
Matt Panter was victorious in the British Open Automatic Ball Trap over the weekend.
Brook Bank Shooting Ground, set in the gorgeous Somerset countryside, were the hosts for the two day event with over 100 shooters taking part.
Gloucestershire shooter Panter shot 195 ex 200 to hold off strong competition from Ed Ling, who will be representing Team GB at the Rio Olympics this year. John Falconer took third place with a score of 193.
In the ladies category Kirstie Barr came out on top after shooting 182 with Abbey Ling hot on her heels, whilst Phil Sanders was crowned Veterans champion after a 188. Nathan Hales shot a superb 191 to come first in the Juniors category, with Theo Ling - completing a hat trick of second places for the Ling family - eight shots behind. Owen Clark shot a fantastic 171 to win the Colts category by some distance.
