English Open English Sporting - May 4-8

Having originally been scheduled as a four day event, an extra day has been added due to excess demand meaning it will now run from Wednesday, May 4 to Sunday, May 8 with over 1,100 shooters due to take part. Sponsored by Perazzi, Eley and Promatic and hosted by Tom and Debra Jones at one of the finest grounds in the country, the English Open is all set to be a cracking opener to a busy English Sporting season.

Following on from the successes of last year’s English Sporting championships, all shooters will start on stand one and shoot straight through the 120-target course, with the winner decided by a top six Super Final on the Sunday afternoon. The scores from the main event will be carried forward into the Super Final.

If you are booked on to shoot the English Open English Sporting but are unable to attend, please notify us as soon as possible by ringing us on 07765 247954 after 2pm on Tuesday, May 3.

We ask you to please be aware that your allocated time slot is an approximation and that you may start earlier or later than scheduled. To ensure everything runs smoothly, we ask that all shooters be prepared and at the stand at least 10 minutes prior to their allocated time.

The event has a massive prize fund of over £10,000 plus prizes that have kindly been donated by two our sponsors. Perazzi have provided a High Tech Sporter and two years sponsorship to the winner whilst Eley will also be offering sponsorship to the winner, alongside 10,000 cartridges to be shared across winner, runner up and third place in all the categories.

There will be a pool shoot, sponsored by Teague Chokes, throughout the five days of the event which will see many prizes handed out – including a set of five Teague Precision Chokes awarded to a daily winner. There will also be an opportunity for shooters to try a demonstration Perazzi gun with Eley cartridges, which will enter them into a random prize draw to win some branded gear.

Two random prize draws will also take place over the event. Vantage Motor Group have kindly offered a weekend’s free hire of a Toyota Land Cruiser as part of our ongoing Member Benefit partnership and Starkey Headsets have donated a pair of Pilla glasses.
