World English Sporting 2023 - Day Four
Day four of the CPSA World English Sporting at E J Churchill Shooting Ground started out slightly chilly with light rain but thankfully little wind. However, the rain unfortunately got worse as the day went on but the shooters toughed it out despite the conditions and we once again saw some big scores come in across the four competitions today.
In the Prelim ESP French shooter Christophe Auvret scored a huge 98ex100 with US shooter Nick Berry just one behind on 97 to top the Prelim leader board.
On the Super Sporting, Sam Green joint top scored today with Michael Cyffin-Jones with 95ex100 each to head the leader board with US shooters Gebben Miles and Will Fennel just one behind on 94 and Junior shooter Will Page putting in a great 93.
In the World Sportrap, Guy Franklin followed up his impressive World Sporting shooting with a fantastic 96ex100 alongside French shooter Christophe Auvret on 96 with fellow countryman Charles Bardou just one behind on 95.
In the main event. World Sporting, Sam Green followed up his 92 yesterday on the Red Course with a massive 97 today on the Blue to top the leader board by four on 189ex 200 from Phil Gray who shoot a very solid 91 on the Blue Course today to finish on 185 ahead of Richard Faulds & Guy Franklin on 183 and Michael Cyffin-Jones on 182.
