The Game Fair is an annual gathering for people passionate about countryside pursuits. From fly fishing to falconry, clay shooting to cookery demos, working dogs to wild food, there's something for everyone, and this hugely popular event draws people from all over Britain.
The Game Fair’s Clayline has become a staple feature of the show site for many years. Run by world famous shooting ground and sporting agency, E.J. Churchill, it allows our visitors the opportunity to have a mid-summer shoot out with clay competitions, Have-a-Go stands and demonstrations - plenty of opportunity for the whole family to get involved. At our CPSA Have-a-Go you can try your hand at shooting clay targets, whether you’re a complete novice or have had some experience. Our instructors will show you how to hold the gun, stand and where to watch the target. This is a sport that both the young and older generations can try.
Our membership team will also be on hand with a show discount of 10% off all new memberships and to help with questions on shooting insurance, training courses, firearms licencing, or classifications.
We are hosting two exciting events at the show:
The CPSA Champion of Champions competition, which invites top-shots from across England to compete for the title. Each CPSA County Committee puts forward their County Champion to test themselves on The Game Fair sporting course. The top five scorers from all the County Champions are then invited to shoot-off for the title.
The CPSA Colts Challenge, where the top 10 ranked under 16s Sporting shooters are invited by the CPSA to test their abilities. All 10 young shots will tackle The Game Fair sporting course, before the top five scorers are asked to display their skill on a sportrap layout in the shooting arena.
Winners of each competition will be awarded prizes generously provided by Eley Hawk Ltd and Sunglasses For Sport. In addition, they will receive a one-year free CPSA membership, recognizing their outstanding performance in the sport.
With a secure gun store located on Gunmakers’ Row, there’s never been a better excuse to bring your gun along to The Game Fair and enjoy the fantastic facilities on offer.

This prizedraw is open to all current CPSA members.
1. Only one entry per person. If more than one entry is made by an individual then the first entry will be counted and all others dismissed.
2. The CPSA/TGF competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter. The aforementioned social media sites have no responsibility to entrants or participants.
3. Entrants must be 18 or over. Entry is not open to CPSA Staff or Directors or anyone professionally connected with this quiz, or the immediate families of said parties.
4. No purchase necessary. Entry is free.
5. The competition starts on (26/05/24) and ends on (28/06/24).
6. Winners must be located in the UK (excluding N. Ireland).
7. The winners will be chosen at random using a random number generator.
8. Prizes have no cash value but can be transferred to a family member or friend.
9. Entrants agree that, by entering, if they win their name can be announced in relation to winning, including, but not limited to, on CPSA social media channels, CPSE e-mail newsletters, CPSA marketing materials, the CPSA’s Pull! magazine, CPSA press releases, the CPSA Website, and all of the same for the CPSA Partners involved in this competition.
