Lady Shooter of the Year

Nominees
Amber Rutter | Georgia Moule | Lucy Earl |
I'm honoured to be shortlisted for Lady Shooter of the Year at the CPSA Awards. It’s been a crazy year, winning silver at the Paris 2024 Olympics, after a whirlwind return to the sport, just three months after the birth of my son. The journey hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth every single second. I’ve had the chance to prove that anything is possible with the right support, determination, and a lot of grit. Balancing motherhood and elite sport isn’t easy, but I’m so proud to be paving the way for women in shooting and inspiring the next generation. To be part of this shortlist means the world to me. Huge thanks to my family, coach, and everyone who has supported me this year. |
It is truly an honour to have been nominated for Lady Shooter of the Year. The 2024 season has been one of the most rewarding of my career. This year, I embraced the challenge of competing in five disciplines: English Sporting, FITASC, COMPAK, Sportrap, and Super Sporting, each offering unique experiences and growth. I was also fortunate to represent Team GB again at the European Championships in Porto, where we won the bronze medal, a moment I will always cherish. Another standout highlight for me this year was securing the gold medal at the English Open Sportrap, followed by a silver in the English Open Super Sporting. These achievements hold a special place in my heart and mark the culmination of hard work and dedication. I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to my sponsors for their unwavering support, which has been instrumental in making this incredible journey possible. |
I’m so grateful to have been nominated for Lady Shooter of the Year, especially with the growing amount of female talent within the sport. The 2024 season has been tough but rewarding, finishing lady runner-up at the English Open Sporting, winning ladies at the Hodnet Challenge, Jack Pyke Open, Welsh Open, and National Inter-counties, as well as numerous regional titles. My personal highlights are winning lady high-gun at the British Open Sportrap and representing England for the third time at the Home International Sporting. |
