Course Setter of the Year
(sponsored by Fellows Media)

Nominees

Phil Moss Josh Billington Keith Roe
I am honoured to be a finalist in the 2025 CPSA awards. I first started setting courses in 2006. In 2024, I hosted the final CPSA England FITASC team selection shoot.

The event was well-supported and received excellent feedback, with many shooters praising the challenging course as the best of 2024.

Previously, I have set & hosted CPSA Regional and County Championships for Cambs, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Herts, Bucks & Kent in the various sporting disciplines. I have set courses for numerous England/GB team selection shoots, English & British Open ESP /STR championships, National I/C ESP championships.

With a lifelong passion for the sport, I am grateful for the shooting community's ongoing support and trust.

The year began with The Blaser Cup, with positive numbers we moved into new ground which hadn’t before been shot. The Coley Classic, this time near fully subscribed welcomed an abundance of shooters with great feedback on what was a fun and challenging course. Additionally, we’ve established monthly FITASC and ESP registered competitions with a strong and consistent following.

I am hugely grateful for the support and trust I have from my team and to the shooters that have followed us all along. Coley’s has changed so much in the last two years & there’s plenty more in the pipeline!

Being nominated for Course Setter of the Year is one of the highlights of my life. Being recognised for giving people a purpose to get out in all weathers and enjoy themselves in a social atmosphere is one of the joys of target setting.

I'm no spring chicken but as long as I am physically able will continue to put my back into the sport. My motivation is to give back to the sport that has given me lifelong memories. I am super proud of my nomination.

Thank you to all of you that thought me worthy of being nominated.
