Shooting is my main focus outside of work, and I love being involved in all aspects. I’ve been a Surrey CPSA Committee member for 8 years and the secretary for the past 6 years. Most weekends I help at NCSC, mainly as a referee but also on reception, generally supporting a great team. My main shooting discipline is Helice, this year the World Championships were held in Cairo. With 30 British shooters going, as part of the organising committee, there were lots of logistics to manage but all ran smoothly, and the team bought home many trophies. |
For the past two decades shooting has been a significant part of my life, after achieving my goal of representing my county and country, I felt it was time to give something back.

Under David's management, the DTL England team has thrived, achieving remarkable success at the Home Internationals, British Open, Europeans, and Worlds, including multiple gold and silver team medals. David’s initiatives, such as masterclasses and psychology workshops, have bolstered performance and encouraged new shooters to participate in selection shoots. His leadership cultivates a winning culture while prioritising personal growth and team spirit. Alongside managing, David remains a competitive shooter, recently winning the South East of England Double Rise Championship. His passion and tireless efforts make him a true asset to the clay shooting community. |
