Referee of the Year
(sponsored by Romero)
Nominees
Josh Foot | Lorna Glover | John Rogers |
“I was extremely proud to be Chief Referee for the English and British ESP at Doveridge and EJC Swinton. I think both shoots were an excellent example of what a championship should be and all of the referees were excellent, professional and did a great job. One of my personal highlights was the championship referee development day, which was the first one we held with more to follow. All the referees at every level and shoot deserve praise for what they do.” |
I qualified as a referee in April 2017, I love a rule and enforcing them, without fear or favour—always with a little sass and a cheeky smile. Starting at local grounds, I progressed to major events, with the 2021 World Championships as my first and officiating the 2023 World Championships final as my career highlight. In 2024, I spent 58 days refereeing, driven by my love for the sport and the incredible people I meet. I’m passionate about inspiring others, especially shooters, to take up refereeing, helping to develop the sport and striving for consistency at all levels. |
I am thrilled to of been selected as a finalist for referee of the year. I’ve been reffing since 2010 and done many shoots I enjoy meeting everyone.
